Dr. Vladimir Zelenko’s journey reflected a lifelong commitment to excellence. A summa cum laude Chemistry graduate of Hofstra University, he earned his M.D. from SUNY Buffalo in 2000 and completed his family medicine residency in 2004. He became a trusted physician and community pillar in New York’s Hudson Valley, also serving as a medical adviser to the Kiryas Joel volunteer ambulance corps.

In the early stages of the COVID‑19 pandemic, Dr. Zelenko developed what became known as the Zelenko Protocol, an early outpatient treatment strategy for high-risk patients that combined hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and azithromycin, aimed at supporting the body’s response when applied soon after symptoms began. Dr. Zelenko and his team were among the first in the United States to treat COVID‑19 patients outside of the hospital setting, focusing on early intervention and prevention of disease progression.
